October 25, 2023 – Pelham and Bronxville, NY – The Picture House Regional Film Center (TPH) announced the opening of The Studio at The Picture House in Bronxville. Formerly offices and storage at the theater, The Studio in Bronxville provides an exciting new education and multi-use space for TPH and the Community. With the completion of Stage 1 of the project, TPH will continue to work with the community and local officials to gather support to enhance and outfit the space. “As we look to the future of TPH, The Studio in Bronxville represents a broader long-term vision for the organization and our role in our community,” said Clayton Bushong, Executive Director of The Picture House. “The Studio will be the first of many initiatives to rethink underutilized resources at TPH and maximize community outreach through film, events, programs and gatherings.” In addition to serving as a dedicated venue for TPH’s educational programs, The Studio in Bronxville will also be available to rent for birthday parties as well as meeting space for community and business gatherings.
